Nordic Youth Championship 2026

To all sailors and support persons. All sailors shall register during the 28th of July. Registration is done by visiting the Registration office in the Tipi tent next to the arena. All sailors shall bring information about: - Hullnumber - Sailbutton number when applicable (for example in optimist class) - Confirmatuion about sailnumber Applicable class rules for sailnumbbers apply - Written confirmation about insurance letter All support persons that have a registrated support vessel shall visit the registration to pay the support vessel fee. Registration accepts card, swish and exact amount in Swedish SEK.

As the boys and girls divisions for ILCA 4 and ILCA 6 does not meet the criterias for seprate Nordic Championship divisions. The RC has taken the decision to merge Boys and Gils divisions into one open division. This is according to NoR. The result is on class of ILCA 4 Open division and one class of ILCA 6 Open division.

The NoR is changed accordingly. The following text is added in 3.1. For the class 29er. Late entry is possible between the 12th and 19th of July 2026. Late entry is done by sending a mail to [email protected] with Crew name, date of birth, Club, , Nationallity and sailnumber. Payment will be done by bank transfer as instructed by OA. Registration is complete when a confirmation is received from RC.

The Organizing authority is very sorry to inform that the following classes has been canceled due to low number of attending sailors at end of registration. This is inline with Notice of Race 2.2.2. - Europe - RS Feva - Zoom 8 Registrated sailors are kindly requested to conctact [email protected] with complete bank details for a refund of the participant fee. Sailors can also choose to be shifted to a class that has not been canceled, if fulfilling critierias to participate in that class. Decision for the class 29er will come shortly.

The NoR has been updated with new paragraph 4.7. The update enables national fedrations or class federations to apply for additonal spots for sailors exceeding the stipulated 20, if another Contry would not fill all their spots. The update is agreed with Swedish and Nordic Sailing Federation. New NoR dated 20260522 is published.

Matias Evakoskiis requesting to use the hull number 194637 with the sailnumber "FIN 219684". The TC has reviewed the request and found the reasons to be in accordance with the applicable rules. Request is thereby approved.

As the ILCA 4 MKII sail is not approved according to the class rule and earliest communicated approval date is 1st of august, TC do not see that a MKII sail can be used in the ILCA 4 fleet. ILCA-class rule shall be followed.

Anna Samsioe is requesting to use the Hull number HIN PL-DSLIL053C626 13265981/228878 with the sail "SWE 222330". The TC has reviewed the request and found the reasons to be in accordance with the applicable rules. Request is thereby approved.
