Although outwardly the yacht looks like a standard First 456 this is not the case. She was built by Beneteau and CNB as Yeoman XXIV and had an extremely successful racing career. Known differences were/are: vinylester layup, taller Sparcraft mast, Navtec rod rigging, additional and upgraded winches including Lewmar 70's with coffee grinder (now removed), extensive hydraulics, extra genoa tracks, deeper non-standard lead keel to a NACA section, carbon fibre rudder with roller bearings and lightened internal furniture modules (doors, bulkheads, bunk tops etc. She has no anchor well doors and a moulded in dan bouy holder in the starboard side of the transom. The yacht layout is standard cockpit and companionway with twin all cabins and master cabin forward of the main bulkhead on the port side.
Built and raced as Yeoman XXIV with the following results.

• 2nd overall & 1st in Class Morgan Cup 1984
